The Underwriting Operations Agency Interface Analyst:
-Performs technical support and/or training for the following systems. This may include communicating with vendors or other departments to resolve support issues as applicable.
-Rate and/or Quote systems
-Company information through web services (rates, claims, forms)
-Policy Issuance systems
-Policy data delivery systems
-Company website(s) and mobile website(s)
-Acts as a liaison with general agencies and internal company departments.
-Collects, audits and maintains Agency System Information for general agencies, including company reports.
-Is key in the development, tracking and maintenance of marketing, training and presentation materials, along with procedure manuals. This may include materials to support Nautilus at automation/technology forums and meetings.
-Administers communications to include support status and resolution, company system marketing and prospecting, general email, telephone and/or in person inquiries.
-Coordinates formal notification of system updates and changes. May act as a liaison with vendors on software-related issues.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
-Associate’s degree (A.A.) or 3-5 years related commercial insurance experience or equivalent combination.
-Working knowledge of all lines of business written by the Company is helpful.
-Understanding of Property and Casualty coverages and ratings preferred.
-Excess and Surplus lines background beneficial.
-Intermediate knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
-CPCU, ASLI and/or AU or other insurance-related classes recommended.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
